Communication

Communication is like this..1st Class communication is that good ol' fashioned face-to-face. 2nd Class communication is that good old over-the-phone stuff, while 3rd class communication are those back and forth letters sent snail mail. In fact we now have an added dimension of communication with instant messaging. This would be the worst Class as it leads to the most misunderstandings among instant messaging users who actually have a human quotient factor in their communique equation. Therefore it is obvious that we do not place emphasis on the use of caps, they do not denote yelling as once believed in the early days of The Web as means of communication. The Web was originally a government and military application which then went on to include universities and law enforcement. Caps were a no-no back then. Today we market and promote on the Web via fb and twitter using caps to denote everything from an ad to a billboard. Instead of using banners we at RATED-X use caps whenever possible as everything we do is in an ad or marketing voice. Re-write the rules..but never forget RESPECT. Respect in communication will be better attained by giving the fb speaker or i/m speaker the every benefit of the doubt. The reasonable doubt used to acquit defendants in the court of law should be afforded to the person you are listening to on fb or other social site. Everyone is different and unique..the ability to communicate must not be lost on us..do not judge what you are reading from your friends and associates on social sites, instead actively seek to get a bead on the line of communications trajectory..is it positive? Is it an excited salesman with good news? See? we do not take strangers (posts from those we do not care so much about for any reason such not knowing the author of the post) too seriously when we read anything they post in terms of text being personally disrespectful. If you are suffering from a breakdown in communication..try to remember..respect and empathy. See where your person is coming from and do not assume anything!
